Live prices from every station we track in Austria — not a national average.
The spread is the point: what you pay depends far more on which station you pick than on the national average.
A national average will not fill your tank. See the stations around you, sorted by price.

Every price here comes from E-Control Spritpreisrechner — official price-transparency data (by law, the cheapest five stations per district). We refetch it several times a day and show when each station last reported — the most recent refresh was 1h 12min ago.
Because an average hides the spread. Right now the cheapest diesel in Austria is €1.961 and the most expensive is €2.519 — a gap of €0.558 per litre, which is real money on a full tank.
