Frequently asked

How often do these prices update?

Every station price comes from the official Prix-Carburants open data feed, which station operators are legally required to update. We refetch it several times a day and show you when each station last reported.

Why is the cheapest station cheaper than the national average?

Because averages hide the spread. Supermarket stations near large cities are routinely 15–25 cents below motorway stations, which is real money on a full tank.

Is the data free to use?

The source data is published by the French Ministry of the Economy under the Etalab Open Licence. Our maps, station pages and price history are ours.
